Cru

Kelly and I (Patrick) experienced significant life change in college due, in large part, to our participation in our local Cru movement. Cru is a missions organization launching Christ-centered spiritual movements around the world so everyone knows someone who truly follows Jesus.

A local staff team led by our close friends, Rich and Becky Duffield, trained us in the basics of how to walk with God consistently while also pointing to a larger vision. After graduation, I withdrew from physical therapy school to pursue an internship with Cru in Central Asia. Upon returning home, Kelly and I were married and we carved out a career with Cru serving at Morehead State University and the University of Pikeville.

Over the last eight years Cru has given us the opportunity to win, build, and send college students all over the world! More than that, we have been offered the space to grow and mature in our relationship with Christ in such a way that we can share that with others.

As of 2022, Kelly has started a photography business and transitioned away from full time employment with Cru. However, she still serves the women of our movement several hours per week as a volunteer. I serve as Team Leader of the Morehead State staff team responsible for launching spiritual movements on campuses in eastern KY.
