“Alice, what do you want to name your baby sister?”
It Was Surprisingly Perfect…
Usually, Alice is turned around kissing Mommy’s belly but we finally got
her turned around for a picture.
Over the last few months Alice has not hid her opinion about the name of our new baby.. First it was Watermelon and then it was Luna. I am glad our “no’s” didn’t stifle her creativity.
On a random Tuesday I heard, “I want my baby sister to be named Addie!”
Kelly and I looked at each other… we didn’t know an Addie and we had no clue where Alice had heard that name. We played with the phrase we could be screaming for years to come and we grew to like the coupling of “Alice and Addie.”
More than that, Alice’s favorite Bible story is Esther.
That seemed to work, too!
In June, we will be welcoming into the world…
