Fall Retreat Through Her Eyes… Meet Elinor

Dear Friends,

This past September, our whole family jumped into one of our favorite ministry moments — Fall Getaway! Kelly, Alice, and Addie joined students for a weekend packed with games, bonfires, late-night chats, and Spirit-filled conversations. Alice even got in on women’s time, making her very own prayer journal (see pic below).

I love when a student’s words capture the heart of what God is doing. Elinor (Morehead State Junior) shared:

“I’m glad I went to Fall Getaway because it gave me a chance to just sit and enjoy each other’s company with like-minded people. It also put more accountability on my plate, helping me feel more confident to deepen my own faith and be more transparent with those around me — whether in class, at work, or out and about.”

This is exactly why we do what we do! God is not only building community, He’s shaping students to live out their faith boldly every day.

And here’s the part that makes it even sweeter — you helped make this possible! Your prayers and support allow moments like this, where God works in hearts and our family gets to serve right alongside students.

As we look ahead to the semester (and a new baby arriving in December!), we would love your continued prayers — for endurance, wisdom, and for God’s Spirit to keep moving in students’ lives.
